LiFePO4 (lithium-iron-phosphate) batteries with a built-in BMS system are characterized primarily by very low weight and a large number of operating cycles (approx. 6000 cycles at DoD 100% and maintaining an average of 80% of their nominal capacity). Due to high cycling and very low self-discharge, the LiFePO4 battery is perfect for both emergency power systems and OFF-GRID installations.
