LiFePO4 (lithium-iron-phosphate) batteries with a built-in BMS system are characterized primarily by very low weight and a large number of operating cycles (approx. 6000 cycles at DoD 100% and maintaining an average of 80% of their nominal capacity). Due to high cycling and very low self-discharge, the LiFePO4 battery is perfect for both emergency power systems and OFF-GRID installations. The low weight allows the device to be used in installations in vehicles (caravans, food trucks) and ships. The built-in BMS system ensures long-term storage of the battery without loss of nominal capacity and controls the charging and discharging processes of the battery.

NOTE:
When using the LIFEPO4 battery to power equipment with an electric motor, including drive motors
propeller, it is mandatory to use a DC fuse on the (+) circuit of the battery, with a value not greater than the maximum load current indicated on the housing. Loading the battery with a starting current that can be 5 to 10 times the rated operating current of electric motors, outboard motors, inboard motors, compressors, refrigerators, air conditioners and other motor equipment can cause permanent damage to the LIFEPO4. battery with BMS not covered by warranty. AGM batteries are recommended for powering marine engines due to their much higher starting current.
