Solar caravan set Victron Energy 180Wp (PWM)

We offer you an optimally designed solar system 180 Wp for caravans and motorhomes with a 5-year warranty on solar panels and solar controller. This system works with a 12V battery voltage. This is one of the most frequently sold and used solar systems of our offer.

The solar system includes the following components:

2x Victron Energy 90Wp/12V solar panel (dimensions 780x668x30mm)
1x PWM solar controller Victron Energy LCD&USB 20A
1x Set of cables 6mm2 incl. of crimped connectors MC4 - length 15 m
1x Merging connector MC4-pair
This build does not include a battery. If you do not have an on-board battery in your caravan, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section. We will be happy to help you make the right choice.

We recommend attaching the panels to the roof of the camper using the proven set of 68 cm brackets (not included in the kit price), which you can find in the same section as this kit. There is also a waterproof grommet for the two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive.

The solar regulator Victron Energy LCD&USB 30A ensures the completely unattended operation of this system, it has a clear integrated LCD display. It will provide you with interesting information about the operation of the entire system. Directly on the front side of the solar regulator, you will also find two USB outputs suitable, for example, for charging mobile phones. After installation, you select one of four preset battery types: AGM, GEL, liquid or LiFePO4

NOTICE:
The set includes a 6mm2 cable 15m long, the ends of the cable are crimped with MC4 connectors for connection to the solar panel. The installing electrician retrofits the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller with bushings and a suitable DC fuse. For the battery, the cable ends with suitable eyelets and suitable DC protection according to the type of battery and the installation conditions.

How to choose the right solar system?
We multiply the consumption of individual devices powered by the solar system in Watts by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total Wh (watt hours) required per day. If this number is lower than the specified values for individual seasons, the performance of the system is sufficient, otherwise a more powerful system must be chosen. If you are not sure which system to choose, contact us, we will be happy to advise you.

If any component of the solar system does not suit you with its parameters, we will be happy to exchange it for another or remove it completely with a corresponding price adjustment. For this modification, please contact us or state the fact in the notes in the order.
