Charger for Pb batteries CARSPA EBC1240, 12V / 40, with automatic. Intelligent automatic lead-acid battery charger with a seven-stage automatic, also designed for permanent connection with a rechargeable battery. Suitable for backup sources, caravans, island PV systems, etc.

Charging phase:

- C-1 Desulphation:
pulse current charging. This phase starts automatically if the battery voltage is below 11V and precedes the standard charging cycle.
C-2 soft start:
phase of gradual increase of charging current up to a maximum value of 40A
- C-3 constant current charging:
key phase of the charging cycle. Constant current charging until the terminal voltage reaches 14.2 to 14.8V (selectable in three stages)
- C-4 Absorption charging:
constant voltage charging 14.2–14.8V with a gradual decrease in charging current
- C-5 Battery test:
- at 90 sec. test, the battery is discharged and the terminal voltage is measured at the same time. If the test is successful, the last, maintenance level automatically follows. If the test fails and the terminal voltage drops rapidly during the test, step 6 follows.
- C-6 Reconditioning charging:
in reconditioning mode, the battery is charged for 4 hours at a reduced constant current
- C-7 Maintenance Mode:
maintaining the terminal voltage of the battery at 13.2-13.8V (optional in three stages).
