Don't want to pay high electricity charges at the campsite, or do you need energy anytime and anywhere outside of civilization? Simply use solar energy to charge the on-board battery in your caravan/motorhome.

We offer you an optimally designed 350 Wp solar system for caravans and motorhomes with a 5-year warranty on solar panels and solar controller. This system works with a 12V battery voltage. This is one of the most frequently sold and used solar systems in our offer.

The solar system contains the following components:

2x Victron Energy 175Wp/12V solar panel
1x Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30 MPPT solar controller
1x 6mm2 cable set incl. pressed MC4 connectors - length 15 m
This set does not include a battery. If you do not have an on-board battery in your caravan, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL, or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section. We will be happy to help you with the right choice.

How much energy can this 350Wp solar system produce on average with optimal sunlight in the Czech Republic?

Spring approx. 882 Wh/day Summer approx. 1216 Wh/day Autumn approx. 882 Wh/day Winter approx. 182 Wh/day We recommend attaching the panels to the roof of a motorhome using a proven 68cm bracket set (not included in the price of the kit), which you can find in the same section as this kit. A waterproof grommet for two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive are also available.

The Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30 solar controller ensures completely unattended operation of the system.

NOTE:
The kit contains a 6mm2 cable 15m long, with MC4 connectors pressed on the ends of the cable for connection to the solar panel. The installing electrician will equip the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller with ferrules and suitable DC fuses. For the battery, the cable will be terminated with suitable lugs and suitable DC fuses depending on the battery type and installation conditions.

Do you need other system components:
We will be happy to advise you on choosing the appropriate battery type, a suitable 12DC/230AC voltage converter. In our offer you will also find the products needed for charging from the alternator while driving.

How to choose the right solar system?
We will multiply the consumption of individual devices powered by the solar system in Watts by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total need in Wh (watt hours) per day. If this number is lower than the values ?given for each season, the system performance is sufficient, otherwise it is necessary to choose a more powerful system. If you are not sure which system to choose, contact us, we will be happy to advise you.

If any component of the solar system does not suit you in terms of its parameters, we will be happy to exchange it for another or remove it completely with an appropriate price adjustment. Please contact us for this adjustment, or indicate this fact in the notes in the order.
