The GEL (gel) series battery is intended for, among other things: for powering photovoltaic systems or vehicles where the battery is subject to shocks and charging from impulse sources such as solar controllers. The gel electrolyte-based design makes the GEL battery ideal for cyclic operation even under deep discharges. It achieves several times more discharge cycles compared to AGM batteries. The design life is up to 12 years, with equilibration operation at 25 °C.

- A GEL battery has a similar structure to an AGM battery, except that in a gel battery the electrolyte is stored as a gel paste. This construction makes it more resistant to electrolyte leakage than AGM batteries.
- Automatic sealing system. When the pressure inside the battery is too high, the valves open, causing the resulting gas to be safely vented outside the casing and preventing damage. This occurs when the battery is overcharged
